Which is more suitable for high-temperature environments compared to aluminum welded pipes?
The performance of titanium welded pipes and aluminum welded pipes in high-temperature environments has their own characteristics. Due to the low melting point of aluminum, which is about 660 ℃, and the high melting point of titanium, which is 1675 ℃, aluminum welded pipes are more susceptible to deformation or melting under the influence of heat in high-temperature environments. In contrast, titanium welded pipes have higher melting points and thermal stability, making them more suitable for use in high-temperature environments.

In addition, titanium welded pipes also have good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance in high-temperature environments. Due to its stable chemical properties, titanium is less likely to react with gases such as oxygen and nitrogen in the air, making it less prone to oxidation in high-temperature environments. Meanwhile, a stable oxide film can form on the surface of titanium welded pipes, which helps to further improve their corrosion resistance in high-temperature environments.
In contrast, aluminum welded pipes are susceptible to oxidation and corrosion in high-temperature environments. The surface of aluminum is prone to forming oxide films, but these oxide films are unstable at high temperatures and are prone to peeling and corrosion. Therefore, aluminum welded pipes are not suitable for long-term use in high-temperature environments.
